I lived in this apartment complex for almost 3 years and if we come back to Utah we'll definitely gladly move back to this complex. Staff - 6 Stars Building - 4 Stars Apartment - 4.5 Stars Amenities - 4.5 Stars Services - 5 Stars The buildings are older but they're well kept and maintained. I do wish that the apartments had more lights as at least mine required you to own multiple lamps. There seemed to be water issues due to pipes almost every week and the carpet on the hall while nice to keep the noise down sometimes retain stinky smells for way too long. The staff is honestly really great, from the front office to the service people everyone was attentive, respectful, and punctual. I departed due to military orders and as soon I produced them I was released from the lease without any hassle. The staff also coordinate food trucks to come to the complex which is lovely. Every time I submitted a work order it was addressed promptly, whether it was a serious leak or a simple light bulb change. My only criticisms are that the mail situation can get pretty hectic (specially during Christmas) and sometimes packages disappeared due to the delivery service and Luxer being quirky but even then the staff did try to come up with ways to alleviate the issues. My second criticism is towards dog owners. Some days you would have a dogs barking for hours and more often than not you would encounter a present if you walked thru the grass. Lastly, I wish all buildings had a designated mail/delivery service parking spot. My spot was prime real state and would get stolen by other neighbors and delivery services all the time.

Foothill place apartments is a high quality place. Tons of apartments here and plenty of parking space. Spoke with Jace today and he was super helpful.

We love Foothill Place! Staff is so helpful, maintenance team is super responsive. Every month the office hosts fun events for the community like paint night, pool party for residents and even pool party for dogs and other fun stuff! Lera and Jace from the office very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of! We call this place our home!

I really enjoyed my time living in those apartments. They are nice and clean. Plus the area is great, it has everything you need. I had a couple small issues in my apartment but maintenance responded promptly and fixed the issue. Public areas were always available and well maintained. Office staff were always very attentive and willing to help. Thank you very much guys. If you can afford this place, I really recommend it. My favorite lease experience so far.

The summer pool party was absolutely fantastic! My kids had a blast enjoying the activities, and they received a ton of gifts. The event was organized so well, creating a lovely atmosphere for the whole family. Huge thanks to the team for such a delightful initiative! I’d also like to thank Lera for taking care of the gifts for the kids. It was such a nice touch!

The dog park has good seating and a lot of space to run and play. It's essentially a full on dog playground. The windows are big in many units which is a plus for me because I love natural lighting. In addition, it's right next to a lot of grocery stores, shopping, gas, and the freeway. They keep up on the landscaping very well and have poop bags stations all over the place so there's no excuse for people to be too lazy to properly care for their pups. The buildings are all secure, the gym is small but has the basics and a big mirror to check form. My only complaint really is that the carpets in the hallways aren't cleaned or vacuumed regularly. Aside from that minute detail, it's a great place. The mailboxes have extra parking so you can grab mail fast, the mail room is big and has a camera to protect your packages, there's a rock climbing wall, a pool, and a dog grooming room... MUCH better than any other complex I've rented at. My dog loves it here too. She has everything she needs and a bunch of friends here.

Jace was EXCEPTIONAL! My spouse and I have been looking for a place to live for weeks; and after touring 20+ places, we had settled down and made our pick. But last minute a friend recommended we check out Foothill and I’m glad they did! Jace made the experience WONDERFUL, and left us with no other choice than to rent with y’all! Foothill apartments are absolutely beautiful and have amazing price points. This is my first apartment and Jaeda was exceptional with the move in process and explained everything for me to feel comfortable with making my decision. This area is also very perfect for restaurants, coffee shops, parks and close to hiking trails. I have recommended these apartments to all of my friends and family that are looking.

Jace is absolutely incredible! He made sure we were overwhelmingly happy with the unit we ended up with and was always available for our questions. We can’t wait to move in!!

I have been living at these apartments for almost 1 year so far. I really enjoy my apartment, and haven't had any issues with management, the maintenance is very helpful ad well and usually arrive within a few hours of placing a request. The grounds of the complex are pretty too, I like that they have groundskeepers out every Friday. They even have fun events (have never gone but they happen often enough) and food trucks in the spring. Some cons: the mailroom, sometimes the fancy package machine works but it's been down for most of my time here. Also, the Amazon guys get lost and sometimes my package never actually arrives. I have seen what seems like stolen packages (torn open and left in random parts of the buildings) but not very often. I usually get my packages delivered to one of the Amazon hubs. The pool. The pool by the workout room was opened for about 3 days in 2023 and then they closed it, i'm assuming for maintenance or something and it never reopened. Not sure if it will reopen this year. Will update later on in the year.

been a resident for almost 2 months and we love it! this is my first apartment so the leasing agent, jace, was super helpful during our application process and move in. our bedroom is super spacious with the perfect amount of closet space! super convenient having the walmart right behind the complex, a gas station and a coffee shop right next to us. love it here!

Lera was amazing helping us with the touring, leasing, signing of the place. She's super communicative and will email back so quickly, no matter the question! Lera also made sure we got our applications and lease pushed through quickly so we could move in ASAP. We got a really good deal on our place, but it is still rather expensive with fees, so watch out for those. Ultimately I'm very excited to live here, but I will update this review on move out! :)

We've loved living here! The location could not be more perfect sitting right next to the free way entrance, but we still feel pretty safe and secluded. We've taken full advantage of the amenities as well, including the pool in the summer, hot tub in the winter, and all the fun little resident competitions and engagements such as the Halloween door decorating contest! :) The parking isn't the best if you live with 2+ people because they only offer 1 covered parking spot at $35 a month, with no option to purchase extra. This can be challenging during the winter, but not bad at all in the summer. Even with that in mind, still a five star + apartment considering the cost, location, amenities, and overall comfort and vibe. Thank you guys!

I can't speak highly enough of one of the office managers, Lera. I'm moving to SLC from Dallas and she was most helpful in finding an apartment for me. Unfortunately circumstances changed and that unit was no longer available to me. She tried hard to find another accommodation but we couldn't make it work out. Lera was always cheerful and so helpful. I have no reservations giving giving Lera and Lisa 5 stars. They are truly customer oriented.

Foothill has such beautiful apartments! It’s such a prime location close to the city and then the canyons so the price is worth it. Plus the office staff really pays attention to details and I appreciate that they take care of all of their residents as fast as they can. It’s hard to see other reviews making negative reviews of things out of managements control but really they do the best they can within their control. Love the dog park too!

We’ve been living at Foothill Place for 5 years now. The apartments are quiet and the office staff is very friendly and helpful. Our dog bolts for their office anytime we go outside to get his complimentary dog treats they offer. Only hope is that they get the second pool open for the summer as it can get crowded at the main pool. Overall, great place to live.

It's about the same size as my old place, but somehow the floor plan just makes it seem so much bigger. There are a couple things that bother me, but the baseline satisfaction with my apartment is enough that it outweighs the things that aren't quite what I want. The doorways for the bathroom and closet are super narrow, although the bedroom door is fine, so keep in mind that some mobility aids might not fit through

EDIT: This problem has been resolved! The Property Manager Marissi was extremely courteous and helpful in getting this taken care of. Thank you to Foothill Place office staff for your help! The apartments themselves are pretty decent. I am having issues with billing. Foothill Place charges all residents a $35 parking fee to reserve a covered carport. Fine, cool, I'm happy to pay for covered parking. The issue began when the complex decided to begin construction on the carports in early January. My carport was demolished, and a new one has not been built yet. It has now been two months without a designated covered carport, and they are still expecting me to pay the $35 fee for a service they have not provided. My car has been absolutely dumped on with snow, and I've had to look for street parking several times. Now they are saying they will charge me late fees if I don't pay for parking (which again, they have not furnished).

Well maintained apartments with friendly staffs. We are staying here for less than a month. The apartment is a very cozy, spacious, with nice neighbors. The place is very close to Walmart, restaurant, clinics, and schools. This is a perfect place for a family with school-age kids. The place really great and we love to stay here.

My overall experience so far has been great. Zoe was awesome to work with and had every answer to all my questions. After viewing the property and reviewing available apartment options, the process went by very quick and smooth. I have been satisfied with my apartment so far. I am very happy to have found Foothill Place versus the other complexes I viewed before moving here.

Foothill Place Apartments is AMAZING, in every way! Management is a joy to talk to. Those tasked with upkeep and maintainance are great! EVERY employee here works their bum off to ensure that we as tenants are taken care of; they fix everything quickly, keep the grounds beautiful and safe. The apartments are spacious! Every neighbor I've met here have been super friendly. EVEN THE MAILMAN IS FRIENDLY! This is the place to be.

We’ve been living in foothill place apartments for 3 years and recently renewed our lease. It’s not a cheap option but it’s worth it if you can afford it. The office people are always nice and helpful, same with the maintenance crew. Amenities are really nice and the apartments are spacious and generally in good condition. The one thing that could improve is their packages system as sometimes packages will get lost, but it’s more on delivery companies than the complex itself

I've lived here going on just over two years now and since before move in even this place has been amazing... Management and leasing agents as well as the maintenance crew have been professional, quick to fix any issues or concerns. It has great amenities and is close to hwys and has close stores within walking distance if needed or driving. It's actually the best place I've ever lived at as far as leasing goes. And until I buy a home I plan on staying here and continue to have this be my home.

I just renewed my lease for a 3rd year, and have had a great experience overall here. great location, quick highway access and safe for walking around. responsive management, and I like the apartment size & layout. good amenities as well and very pet friendly.

Like I said it before from the day we met the staff there awesome between the help of them with a smooth move from Wilshire to the way they go out of the way to say hi and are friendly.

So the way the office staff works with you between the new manager Lisa and lera and Zoey as leasing they are the best. Place stays clean and matince is good. Love it here

Great place to live and my dog loves it

This place has been a pretty wonderful living experience, great amenities, fun parties thrown by the management in the summer at the pool and even has a dog park. It’s pretty quiet and super safe. Only 10-20minutes to pretty much every city in the valley, and about 25 minutes to park city. Highly recommend

So far so good! We really love the remodeled townhomes they are spacious and very nicely redone. I love that there is no carpeting (only on stairs) which is so lovely! The countertops are my absolute fav as well as the premium flooring. The facilities and grounds are very clean and well maintained and even have a mini dog park for the pups to run around. If you own dogs and are looking for spacious grounds to play this is the community for you! Highly recommend !!

PROS: Good size dog park, decent gym, very nice location (between downtown and South salt lake and park city making its location close to everything), nice pool and hot jacuzzi, they really do preventive maintenance and peaceful neighborhood. Always felt safe walking my dog even at night. CONS: expect fees for everything before and after moving in and out of the apartments. They are not hidden fees and they will layout everything to you when you sign it. Expensive late fees for not paying on time and the parking can be hard to find but I was always able to park around the apartments. Like all other apartments, you can hear some of your neighbors upstairs and you just can't get away with some of your not so nice neighbors smoking (even if its not allowed) and dumping their cigarette in the drain and eventually smelling it in your bathroom sink. Basically, I would say because it is a commercial apartment, there are a lot of policies to follow, number guests allow per unit and etc. to keep everything in order. If you don't use any of their amenities, I personally think it would be too expensive to live here other than that, it was pretty okay and had a comfortable time staying here before we bought a townhome and eventually moving out.

Also, the frequent water outages are very frustrating and we've been told they cannot possibly notify us. Fo 2k/mo I expect some of that money to be invested in an SMS notification infrastructure to make such notifications possible.

I've been a tenant almost a year and very happy with my time here. Recently, I had problems with my in-unit washer and dryer and maintenance promptly came to try to replace a part. When replacing a part didn't work, they got me a new washer/dryer within DAYS. Overall, great service!

My roommate and I have been living here for about three years now. We absolutely love the place! Lera helped us upgrade to a town house and was excellent at answering all our questions and concerns! Now we are excited to fill out the new town house and enjoy another wonderful year at Foothill Place!

I have lived at Foothill Place for several years - Foothill Place has a lot to offer: great location, beautiful view of the City, beautiful, well maintained grounds, fast and efficient maintenance service, wonderful dog park and an outstanding Assistant Manager - Raquel R is professional, courteous and great asset to the company. I’ve lived at Foothill Place for almost a year now and have had a great experience. maintenance and front office requests are promptly addressed, and the location is great for canyon access!

My son moved in about a month ago and loves the location and amenities so far. Daniela helped us out and made the move in process quick and easy and was always very responsive with any questions we had, which was exactly what we needed. My son loves the year round hot tub and feels safe in the neighborhood!

We moved in about 3 months ago and really like the location of this complex. All of the staff we have worked with are extremely friendly and helpful! We have primarily worked with Daniela, who has been great. Any maintenance orders we put in have been addressed in a timely manner. One bummer is the covered parking spot we pay for is not really convenient for our apartment location. This isn't the case for everyone, it depends on your unit. Just know there could be a bit of a trek if there are no available uncovered spots. The amenities are great and well kept. Very dog friendly! We hardly ever hear the other tenants in our building. I also love that you are allowed to hang shelving use nails on the wall for decor to really make it feel like home.

My girlfriend have lived here for over a year, and just renewed here for another year. We absolutely love it. The pools and hot tub are nice, the grounds are well taken care of, and its in a good location for downtown and the mountains. We love our townhouse layout, and rent did not increase much when we resigned which was nice. Raquel R. at the front desk has been nothing but great to my girlfriend and I. After our first visit over a year and a half ago, she learned our names and now always greets us like we're friends. She is always welcoming and willing to help with whatever the situation may be. 10/10 recommend living here.

We have been living in these apartments for over a year now and hadn't had any issues with anything until this Spring when the Sprinklers came on for the season. We had water leaking into the master closet and it would come and go. It was a huge mystery as to why. I spoke with the Assistant Manager, Raquel, and she was very kind and allowed me to contact her directly when this started. She stayed in contact while maintenance was figuring out the why. She was very prompt about sending the right people out when needed. We also recently had a washer and dryer installed and there was a lot of different people that needed to come to do different parts of the rebuild for that and Raquel was very kind and always let me know when to expect different individuals and their individual projects. We now have a new washer and dryer installed and the leak was fixed at the same time. I am so appreciative of Raquel going out of her way to be available for questions or concerns. She has done a great job as the assistant manager. With all of the many apts here in this complex, she makes sure you don't feel like just an apt number but you feel heard and she always does it with kindness!

I moved in about a month ago, so far have had a great experience the whole way. During the tour they were very up front about rent and fees, more amenities than I was expecting. Parking at the office isn't always easy, but parking near my apartment is never a problem. Maintenance was very responsive and fast even over small fixes like a screen door that didn't slide very easily. Staff have been great and Raquel especially has been very helpful. And the other residents have been friendly and respectful.

Very clean, well maintained place. The staff is very friendly, helpful and responsive. I really appreciate all of the onsite amenities (gym, pool, climbing gym). The location can't be beat as well in terms of access to ski hills, hiking, and away from city rush.

Top Notch Office/Leasing Staff! Specifically, we'd like to recognize Raquel Ryan. From the time we began our quest for an apartment in the Salt Lake area this spring, Raquel has gone above and beyond to help identify our needs and find appropriate and suitable accommodations for our situation. In the months before our scheduled move-in date, she was consistent and intentional about keeping in touch with us about the status of our future unit. We had selected and secured/reserved a unit that was scheduled for a renovation so there were a few more moving parts than a traditional lease with a traditional move-in date. And with the pandemic, sometimes supply chain issues can interrupt that process and the variables even more. She was diligent in communicating regularly with her renovation team and reporting any possible delays or complications to us. As far as the lease agreement goes, and other account and billing questions we had, she was always quick to respond to questions and seek answers or clarify any agreement/lease terms we didn’t understand. Her extensive knowledge and experience in working in lease agreements and contracts was evident and very much appreciated. To the owners/management team of this property and/or executive or corporate team, thank you for choosing such high-caliber team members like Raquel to work with residents and future residents of this beautiful campus. She is clearly a valuable asset to this property and the team.
